Melty Mozzarella and Tomato Flatbread

  • 2 (9-inch) naan flatbreads
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 Campari tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Additional pizza toppings, as desired
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Garnish:
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, optional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, optional
  • Frigo® Shredded Parmesan Cheese, to taste
  • Dried chili Flakes, to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Brush the naan flatbreads with the olive oil and sparingly season with the salt.

Then, place the naan flatbreads on a sheet tray or pizza stone.

Divide the marinara sauce and spread it over the tops of the naan flatbreads (bubbly-side up). Top with the Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese slices and tomato slices. Then, add any additional pizza toppings, as desired.

Place the naan flatbread pizzas on the middle rack and cook for 10–15 minutes or until the Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese becomes melty and the crusts are golden brown.

Remove the naan flatbread pizzas from the oven and top them with the freshly ground black pepper, fresh basil and fresh oregano.

Slice and serve them with Frigo® Shredded Parmesan Cheese and dried chili flakes.
