- 2½ cups Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, shredded and divided
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup cooked chopped bacon
- ½ cup Frigo® 3-Cheese Italian Blend Cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1½ tablespoons ranch powder
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven on the broil setting.
In a medium-sized, oven-proof sauté pan, heat 2 cups of the shredded Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese and all the other ingredients (except the chives) on medium-high heat for 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Be sure to continually stir the mixture with a rubber spatula, scraping the bottom of the pan to avoid burning it.
Remove it from the heat, fold in the chives and top it with the remaining shredded Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese.
Then, place the sauté pan in the oven on the top rack and broil for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is brown and bubbly.
Garnish with bacon bits, chives or Frigo® 3-Cheese Italian Blend Cheese, and serve with crispy, warm waffle fries or chips.
